Crypto whales made massive purchases for the popular play-to-earn project.
According to on-chain analysis platform Lookonchain, two new crypto whales made tens of millions of dollars worth of purchases in the popular play-to-earn project STEPN (GMT).
The data revealed that the two new whales acquired a total of 146.1 million GMT worth $49.35 million over the past 3 days. With these purchases, the two whales bought 7.91% of the circulating supply.
Recently, two different new crypto wallets bought $45 million worth of GMT. The close timing of two new wallets making around $40 million worth of purchases each raised the possibility that these transactions could be linked to the same person.
According to CoinGecko, the increased interest and purchases contributed to a 29% rise in GMT over the past week, currently trading at $0.345.
